Orange and the color "pumpkin" is really big this fall and that is why I love this dress by Sassy Sweet Apparel. I absolutely love the fit of this dress.....it's very slenderizing. I also love the print....AND lets talk about that neckline!! Just gorgeous!

Yellow Blossom Maxi Dress

Good morning and happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend with friends and family. It's been three weeks now since having baby Olivia (birth story coming soon) and I am still recovering from my c-section and trying to adjust to my new schedule. Being a Mommy is the best thing ever and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Life is good!

During the summertime, there is nothing that I love more than maxi dresses. They are easy to wear, light weight, breathable, and there are so many different colors and prints to choose from. I'm not going to lie, a pretty good portion of my closet is filled with maxi dresses.

I love this fun yellow printed maxi dress. It's bright, flowy, and I love the ruffled detail around the neckline.

WHAT LITTLE E WORE: LADYBUG DRESS

E and I are huge fans of this adorable vintage ladybug dress that I snagged at Goodwill for just a buck. Every time E wears this dress, I absolutely swoon. I love all the details of this dress from the lace at the sleeves, in the front and around the bottom to the red ribbon and the two large ladybugs on each side that are little pockets.

FRIDAY FASHION LINK UP: POLKA DOT DRESS

Dress: Beyond the Rack // Shoes: Zulily // Necklace: F21//  Purse: Juicy Couture // Sunnies: TJ Maxx This dress and these shoes just arrived in the mail about a week and a half ago from Zulily and Beyond the Rack. I am a huge fan of polka-dots, so I have already worn this dress a few times already. What I love about this dress besides the all over polka-dot print is the light material and how comfortable it is. My Dad picked out the shoes. These shoes are so comfortable which is so nice because I am on my feet a lot throughout the day at work. I also love the black and tan color detail which makes them look different.

High-Low Dress

Out of all the dresses and skirts in my closet, one style I have never owned until now is a high low dress.....that is until I saw this one at Nordstroms Rack and I had to have it. It's flowy, stretchy and so comfortable. It also doesn't wrinkle very much either. I can wash it, hang it to dry and don't even  need to run an iron over it. This is the perfect dress to throw on and go. You can either wear it casual with some flip flops or dress it up so it's very versatile. Thumbs up for the high-low dress!

Kate Spade Cross-Body Purse

My birthday was definitely one to remember. I would have to say it was one of the best, if

not the best birthday I have ever had. I got to spend part of the day with my Mom. When

she picked me up, she surprised me with a new pair of Aldo boots and this new Kate Spade

cross-body purse. I just about died when I saw it! My Mom and I went shopping all day and

went to lunch. When I got home, I went upstairs to put all my birthday goodies away and 

when I came walking downstairs my Dad and Josh had an oreo cake lit with a big 29 on top.

Josh and I spent the evening together and had a nice dinner at Macaroni Grill. I love that place! 

This year's birthday was so great! I am so grateful. Next year I will be 30! Holy moly! Crazy!

Do you have clothes in your closet that don't fit you but you just continue to hold onto them in hopes that one day they will fit again?? I have a lot of "those" clothes. This dress is one of them. I bought this dress at Ross a long time ago when it fit me to a "T". I had to buy it! Especially with a price tag of $6.99! Wahoo! Boy do I LOVE clearance racks! Score!

Well...I gained a few pounds here and a few pounds there, so this pretty little thing just hung in my closet for months and months. On Tuesday night, we went out to dinner with friends. When I got home I was looking through my closet trying to decide what to wear. I wanted to dress up a little bit, still be comfortable and wear something that would be somewhat cool, since we are in the triple digits right now in Arizona. I spotted this dress hanging up in the back corner of my closet. I thought to myself...I would love to be able to wear that tonight but it don't think it fits still. A few seconds later, I grabbed it off the hanger and threw it on!

Wait!!! What?!?! It fits?!?! Are you kidding me?!?! Yay!!

I paired this dress with some red accessories to add a pop of color. The dress came with a matching belt to tie into a bow, but I switched it out and added this black belt instead to define my waist more.

You better believe I worked this dress when we went out!

I am always excited when I get an opportunity to do a product review.
