HAPPY FRIDAY my fellow blogging friends!

Today is a good day! I am wearing jeans at work (which NEVER happens)

When I go shopping, you can usually find me at SAVERS or Goodwill.
It's so amazing all the designer brands (in great condition) that I find for next 
to nothing. When I first started thrifting, it was a little nerve racking and overwhelming 
with racks and racks of clothes all mixed together, but now its like a giant treasure hunt for me to search and find little gems of clothing. This dress was one of those "gems" I found. One day when I was at SAVERS, I was having one of those shopping days where you just can't find 
anything. I was about ready to leave when I noticed the sleeves of this dress 
sticking out from the rack. I went over and picked it up and immediately fell
in love with it! I was able to pick this dress up for $6.99! Come to find out, this 
dress is from Nordstrom's and retails for $148! Woot Woot! Score!

I love the gathered fabric in the front, how form fitting it is and the fact that I can wear it
in the spring, summer, fall,  and the in the winter too! See how I wore it for the winter HERE

In all of these pictures, it was really nice outside until..........

The wind started to pick up and I couldn't get a single shot in!!

 

Then it started pouring! Just lovely.....

FASHION FRIDAY LINK UP: I TOTALLY FORGOT I HAD THESE!!

I wore this outfit to work a little over a week ago. Every night around 9:30pm its the same routine.

 I pick out my outfit for work the next day and iron it. I put this fun outfit together and couldn't find any shoes that looked good with it. Every shoe I tried on just didn't seem to look right with the outfit. As I was searching through all my shoes, I spotted  these gladiator wedges. Perfect! I totally forgot that I even had these shoes! I got these shoes for just $24.99 at the Nine West outlet in Oregon when I lived there 4 years ago. What a steal!! I tried them on with my outfit and it was a match made in heaven!! Wearing these shoes really makes me feel like I can take on the entire world!

Just in time for summer, I got my hands on this Batman shirt from Jack of All Trades

Isn't it AWESOME!?!?! 

I love the 3/4 sleeves and the fact that when I am wearing it I feel like I can fly!!

The material is soft, stretchy and a great quality. This will definitely be my weekend shirt.

DOWN EAST BASICS: THE PERFECT SUMMER DRESSES

I have to admit that I am a skirt & dress fanatic! I have so many dresses 

hanging in my closet and two drawers full of skirts. I know...it's ridiculous!

I love buying dresses and skirts because they are so versatile for me. 

I can wear them to work, church, and out for date nights. There is just

something about wearing a dress or skirt! It makes me feel pretty, classy,

sophisticated and girly. So where do I go when I shop? Straight to the dress rack!

I am on Down East Basics email list. I could spend hours in their store. True story!

I just got an email this morning with all their new summer dresses that have arrived.

Seriously guys...look how cute these are!! 

I think I might be going shopping this weekend......
