$100 Extra Bucks
I came across the Dollar Shave Club website about a week ago and loved their website so I had to share it with you. They have a few fun topics that I could write about, but before I share what the topics are, I would love to tell you a little more about Dollar Shave Club.
Dollar Shave Club delivers quality razors right to your door each month at crazy low prices. So not only will you pay less for razor blades, but you don't even have to shop for them! They come directly to you.....................which shaves time and shaves money!
Here's how it works |
These were my topic choices:
- How to "shave" time and money in everyday life.
- What would you do with $100 extra bucks
- What should you and shouldn't you squeeze the most out of?
I decided to go with "What would you do with $100 extra bucks?
When I picked this topic, the first thing that came to my mind was to use the $100 extra bucks and go SHOPPING!! Do you know how much I could thrift if I had $100?!? I would walk out of the store with bags and bags full of stuff!
I then decided to really think about the question and to survey people, asking them what they would do with $100 extra bucks. Here are some of the responses that I got:
Yes...of course my first initial answer was to go shopping with the money, but the more I thought about the question the more I thought about how I could help and bless others instead. About two nights ago as I was getting my stuff ready for work the next day, I looked at our Christmas Jar that I have on our dresser thinking that would be the perfect picture for this post. I will fill the jar with $100 in bills and use that as my main picture. Who doesn't like a jar full of money?!?! I then thought about what Josh and I did last year with the money that was saved in the jar. We decided to give it to a family that was in need. Seeing the smiles and the tears stream down their faces made my Christmas. I've got to to tell you that the best feeling in the world is being able to bless someone else. If you haven't tried it yet, I suggest you give it a try and see how you feel! You won't be disappointed. I promise!
If you think about it...this question is so simple, yet has so many aspects to it.
So here is what I came up with. Here is my list of what I would do with $100 extra bucks:
#1 Take a friend to lunch ($20)
#2 Pay the tab for the person behind me ($10)
#3 Take my Husband out on a nice date ($50)
#4 Thrifting ($20)
I surveyed some of my FB friends, but now I ask YOU. What would you do with $100 extra bucks? I (and the Dollar Shave Club) would LOVE to hear your answers! Please comment below!!
