Bus Ride to Coolidge AZ

Yesterday our ward took a 2 hour bus ride to participate in a service project at the Randolph Training Center in Coolidge (school for handicapped individuals).

We had the opportunity to take them to church where we sang Hymns, visited with them and showed them how much we loved them and their sweet spirits.
Yesterday was a day I will truly never forget! My ♥ is still full of joy!
Our Savior Himself gave unselfish service.

He taught that each of us should follow Him by denying ourselves of selfish interests in order to serve others.

We are happier and more fulfilled when we act and serve for what we give, not for what we get.

Serving others helps us respect and love them.
Loving others brings us closer to the Lord.
In living close to the Lord we discover our own self-worth and true happiness.

We all have many opportunities to render service to others. That is our calling and our privilege.

In serving the needs of others, we are mindful of the words of the Savior:
“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
-Matthew 24:40

Let us follow our Saviors example.....

**CHALLENGE**

I challenge you this week, to step out and help someone else who is in need.

Whether is be a simple smile, a compliment, or another act of service.

Then...

See how your soul feels.....

**I wanted to take a ton of pictures yesterday but couldn't because of privacy issues**
